Cristiano Ronaldo is now 38 years of age. He has scored 122 goals in 199 international matches. He is currently the number one in goal scoring in international football. The player with the second-most appearances is Badr Al Mutawa of Kuwait, with 196 matches. Messi currently ranks 11th on the list with 175 matches. India’s Sunil Chhetri has played 137 matches. In terms of international goals, Ronaldo also holds the record, surpassing former Iranian footballer Ali Daei’s tally of 109 goals in 148 matches during the FIFA World Cup last year.
