WPL Stars Celebrate International Women’s Day with a Heartwarming Message of Empowerment

International Women’s Day: The 8th of March every year celebrates International Women’s Day since 28 February 1909. This happened when 15 thousand of women marched through New York City demanding shorter hours, better pay, and voting rights. International Women’s Day is celebrated for social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. It is highlighting the fight for gender equality worldwide.

On the day 8th of March, celebrate all women on this very day and appreciate and acknowledge the contributions and sacrifices of women. They bring humbleness, beauty, love, and inspiration. They make the world better as a mother, sister, friends, and lovable places in society.

This year 2023 the theme is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality“.

Why do we celebrate International women’s day?

In the year 1911 On 19t March, International Women’s Day was recognized in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland. In celebration, more than one million both gender women and men attended rallies. They campaign for women’s rights to employment, the vote, education for girl children and to end discrimination in society.
