Smriti Mandhana’s major moment came in October 2013 when she scored a double ton (double century) during an ODI for Maharashtra against Gujarat in the West Zone Under-19 Tournament at the Alembic Cricket Ground in Vadodara. She made 224 in 150 balls and she became a sensational mark in Indian women’s cricket.

In the 2016 Women’s Challenger Trophy she was the top scorer. She made 192 runs including three fifties. She played for India Red and helped her team to win the trophy. She also signed a deal with Brisbane Heat to play in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and announced her arrival in Women’s cricket. She became the first Indian player to participate in the Kia Super League for Western Storm in June 2018.
