IPL is the most expensive and the most glamorous cricket event on this planet. The IPL auction 2023 has started today in Kochi. In this mini-auction, all the franchises will try to improve their team by buying some players. 405 players are there for auction in IPL 2023 and out Of these, 273 are Indian players and 132 are overseas.

  • The all-rounder Sam Curren of England become the most expensive player in the history of the IPL tournament. He was sold to Punjab Kings at INR 18.5 crore USD 2,256,000.
  • Cameron Green of Australia was sold at 17.5 crores to Mumbai Indians and
  • Ben Stokes fetched by Chennai Super Kings at INR 16.25 crore,
  • Nicholas Pooran was sold at 16 crores to Lucknow.
  • Harry Brook went to Sunrisers Hyderabad at INR 13.25 crore
  • Mayank Agarwal at INR 8.25 crore to Sunrisers Hyderabad

The West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder was sold to Rajasthan Royals at INR 5.75 crore USD 701,000.  Kane Williamson the New Zealander was sold for his base price of INR2 crore to champions Gujarat Titans.
