DC registered their fifth win of the season, although they were sloppy in the field with dropped catches and missed run-out chances. Prithvi Shaw and captain David Warner provided a solid start for DC, sharing a 94-run partnership. Rilee Rossouw later joined Shaw, and they added another 54 runs together. Phil Salt contributed 26 not out off 14 balls to help DC cross the 200-run mark.
