He has been also ruled out from World Test Championship (WTC) against Australia at the Oval in London. He is ruled out due to a hip injury. The star batsman for LSG and India is a big blow for India and also to LSG. He has scored 274 runs in IPL 2023. Krunal Pandya will be the skipper in the remaining IPL 2023 matches.
KL Rahul Injured headed to Mumbai for a scan
KL Rahul suffered an injury to a tendon in his right hip. This happened while he was chasing a ball in an IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He will leave LSG camp after the CSK match with Jaydev Unadkat. Rahul’s scan will be done at BCCI’s designated medical facility in Mumbai Hospital.
Karun Nair replaces injured KL Rahul at Lucknow Super Giants
Karun Nair replaces KL Rahul in the LSG camp. He has come at INR 50 lakh. Nair is a very experienced player. Nair represents Delhi Daredevils, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is not new to the IPL. He has scored 1496 runs in 76 IPL.
LSG is Now in Second Position in the IPL points table
Luchnow Super Giants is now in Second Position in the IPL points table with 11 points and a net run rate is 0.639. One match was abandoned due to rain against CSK. LSG lost 4 matches out of 10.
