The hard hitter middle-order batsman David Miller support South Africa’s new T20I captain Aiden Markram. David Miller said “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested,” ahead of South Africa’s 2nd ODI match against West Indies in Potchefstroom.

David Miller stated that he will do all the support for Aiden Markram. He will put his best foot forward for the team. He also praised Aiden Markram’s and leadership skills, calm personality. He said that he will support Markram and the team in whatever they needed from him.
“I’ve really enjoyed the journey I’ve had with the Proteas and the experience that I’ve got. The fact that I am not captain, I am most certainly not bitter or anything towards anyone. I want to put my best foot forward for the team and support Aiden in that role.”
